Chris played on our ward's basketball team in our stake tournament. They did pretty awesome- 2nd place! They played two games Friday night, then four more Saturday morning to take them to the Championship game. Unfortunately they lost (though the team did have a former NBA player who was so large Chris looked like a small child...not fair). It was a long two days, but it definitely fun to watch Chris play. He did really well- in one of the games he had about 20 rebounds. He had tons of fun playing with the guys in the ward, and Nathan had fun playing all day with friends.

and I had fun taking a nap with Nathan on one of the couches :)

Oh dear...

He's learned to go up the stairs, we still need to work more on coming back down.

He's the greatest.
It's been cold here, so we're having fun staying warm inside, hanging out with friends, and having fun together.
Chris has been super busy with school, his first test of this block is today. Yesterday he had fun drawing blood for the first time, apparently he was pretty good at it too. His next test is on Thursday...only 4 1/2 more weeks till our next break!

New Favorite Place

I just found out on Wednesday that we can get into the Children's Museum for free. I have taken Nathan once before, but we had to bum off friends to get in for free...now we can go whenever we want! So on Thursday Nathan and I headed up to the Tot Spot for some fun times.
Nathan LOVED it. The last time we were there he wasn't crawling yet, so this time he was all over the place. He made some new friends, crawled everywhere, and had tons of fun.

Happy 10 Month Birthday

I can't believe that he's getting so old! He is almost walking, loves having conversations, and gets into everything. He loves eating cheerios, cheese, yogurt, and carrots. He has such a bubbly personality and is so sweet.

To celebrate Nathan and I headed over to the Houston Zoo with some friends and had a fun time seeing all the animals. Nathan loved watching the fish, especially the brightly colored ones and the big fat ugly ones. He mostly liked "pushing" the stroller and watching all the other kids run around and got upset when I wouldn't let him crawl after his friends.
