Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving was a very relaxing day. We listened to Christmas music, Chris played football in the morning, I got the turkey in the oven, we went on a walk, got the table ready, made stuffing and rolls (made the cranberry sauce the night before), got the table ready, and waited for our friends to come over and bring the rest of the food!

We forgot to take pictures of the actual party, whoops :) We had two other couples over and had fun talking, laughing, watching Nathan crawl all over, and playing taboo (guys v. girls...the guys definitely won...boo)

Here's the picture of the table-way better than Martha Stewart :) I was proud of our classy- yet cheap- table (thankfully we got a table from the church building to fit us all).

And I did a little Christmas decorating...we leave in 2 weeks for our break so I am trying to enjoy our decorations as much as I can before we're out of here!

This year I have been reminded of how blessed I am. I have a great family- an amazing husband and son, wonderful parents and siblings, a home, friends, and the gospel. I am grateful that I am able to stay home with Nathan. I am grateful that we have a car that works. I am grateful that Nathan is healthy and loves to laugh. I am grateful that Chris only has 2 years left of school! I'm grateful Chris is so smart and is doing so well in school. I am grateful for Sundays- that's "our" day- no school work, just family time. There is so much more that I could say, but my life truly is great.

Happy Thanksgiving

and Merry Christmas!

I love this post! The bulbs in the glass jars are too cute.

I'm glad things are going so well for you - happy holidays!

I love your decorations and I love hearing what you are grateful for! (This is Karen, by the way)
