Decking the Halls
Last Monday before Chris headed out for work we decorated the tree together as a family. Nathan wasn't really too into it- he had more fun breaking ornaments than putting them on the tree, but oh well- good thing we don't have too many nice ornaments!
I also finished a wreath for our door...and I have to say that I'm quite proud of it.
I started it last year (hoping to have it done for Thanksgiving...of 2009!), and finally finished it this weekend...now that's procrastination at it's finest :) It is made out of acorns we collected (Nathan had fun helping with that), so in total the wreath cost me less than $4 to make!
We have all our nativities out, (we've only broken one so far and it wasn't Nathan who broke it...Chris and I got a little crazy putting up the Christmas tree!), our first wrapped present is under the tree, and sock snowman family is out (thanks Liz and Becky- Nathan has had fun singing the snowman song with them!)
I love that Nathan sort of knows what is going on- he loves looking at Christmas trees and he knows who Santa is and loves snowman and singing Christmas songs. It's so much fun having a kid during Christmas time- I just love watching Nathan's face every morning when we light up the tree. I can't wait to see him on Christmas morning!

The wreath looks great. From far away it kind of looks like M&M's, which would be a horrible idea for outside decor, but a wonderful idea for me to eat! haha
Your tree looks great!! It's so fun to have kids for the holidays they make everything seem that much more magical!
