So this weekend we moved; it was a crazy couple of days but it was worth it. There was so much confusion as we couldn't move into our place till Sunday morning, but we had to be out of our old place by Sunday morning for Mike and Vanessa to move in. Thankfully Devin and Cathy were gone for the weekend (they now live right above us) so we were able to start moving our stuff.
Our new apartment is smaller, only 1 bedroom now, so making things fit has been a slight challenge. We think we have everything pretty much set up the way we want it. The scariest part was moving our piano, but thanks to some great friends, our truck and some hard work (by the men) we were able to move it in. Our apartment looked really scary when we finally got everything in and began organizing- it was pretty discouraging at first. The upside is that we found out that our storage closet is actually the size of a small room! That extra space will save us because apparently we have a lot of junk.
We were really lucky- we started moving stuff Sunday morning and within a few minutes we had 4 other couples in our complex helping us. Things went so quickly with all the help. I rearranged the living room again, and I think we have a setup that gets everything in (we have way too much stuff!) We are really excited for our new place- there's no dishwasher, air conditioning, or garbage disposal, but we've really felt welcome and we know this is where we need to be.

You have a blog! This is great! I can't wait to see your new place. Remember when you showed me how to use a garbage disposal freshman year? Now I have one and you don't. Don't mean to rub it in, but it is kinda funny.
I love your blog background! And I totally want the recipe for the popcorn. I'm pretty sure that I ate almost all of it, again.
