Winter Wonderland

Chris finished his finals on Friday the 11th at 10:30, and then after a quick nap we loaded up the car and were on the road by 3:30. We decided that it would be best for Nathan (we're such good parents:) if we drove during the night, so off we went to drive all night long.
We were both tired (it's amazing how finals week made me tired too. wierd.) but we successfully pulled in the Durham, NC at 11:30 to spend a couple days with our friends Devin, Cathy, and Kylie. It was wonderful to see them again (We hadn't seen them since we left Provo) and we were able to catch up and just relax before making the last leg of our trip to Virginia.
After a few days of sleeping, eating, and shopping, we were ready to venture out, It was cold (so different from Houston!) But we had fun bundling up and taking Nathan on a walkwhere he propmtly fell asleep

Chris decided that he really wanted snow, lots of snow, a white Christmas even...so his wish was granted and we were treated a at least 18 inches of snow in 1 day. It was so fun! Until it was time to shovel :)
But I think Nathan enjoyed it. He had no idea what was going on, but it sure was pretty!
