15 Months

This morning Nathan had his 15 month check up and he did amazing! The doctor and nurses were astounded at how well behaved, friendly, and smart he was.  The doctor declared him to the "the perfect boy", and quite frankly, I agree.  Usually I dread going to the doctor's office, but today was actually fun.  Nathan played with some other kids in the waiting room, danced to a song playing, and said hi to everyone he saw...I love seeing people smile and laugh because of Nathan; I love how kids can make almost everyone happy.  Once we went back to the exam room Nathan had fun exploring, looking at the pictures and posters on the wall, and pointing out every baby he could find- I'm pretty sure he can now say "baby", (we've been practicing this one because he loves to look at little babies everywhere we go...I hope parent's don't get to scared when he runs up to their small children screaming "bebe.") He got one shot today which he took like a champ- he is really good at shots, better then me :) He only cried for about 10 seconds and then was done.  I love seeing how much he is growing every time we go. Our doctor said we should be really proud of how advanced he is, physically and cognitively, and we definitely are.

Here are the 15 month stats:
Weight: 25 lbs.  60%
Height: 31 1/4   55%
Head: 18 1/2    45%
He has learned to fold his arms to pray...it's so fun to see him when it's time to pray...and he loves it so much we pray a lot more because he wants to!

Nathan is such an amazing kid! I feel so lucky to be able to be his mom!
