Oh Abigail

In honor of Abby's 7 month birthday today God gave us some rain.
Since we're in the worst drought ever we were pretty excited :)

Abby and Nathan had fun looking out the window together at the rain and the lightening and listening for the thunder.

FYI- having no pants on or having your dress tucked into your bloomers is totally in right now.

To top off the night we went to a friend's house where we played games with two other couples while Abby and Nathan played with a new friend (and new toys!).  We had a lot of fun getting to know the other two couples better (even though I really stunk at the game...)

Since I just posted her "six month" stats, I'll tell you a little bit about her eating habits.  This week my sweet little baby girl has eaten:
*macaroni and cheese  (Nathan gave her some.  When I emphatically told him that she cannot eat that he said, "But Abby like Mac n Cheese!")
*goldfish crackers (Nathan's fault, though Chris thought it was pretty funny)
*ice cream (she is so fast- Chris was holding her and a bowl of ice cream at our ward's ice cream social last night and she quickly grabbed the ice cream then shoved her hand in her mouth before we could even try and stop her)
*a bit of a taquito (blame Nathan)
*a raisin (once again Nathan's fault)
*a grocery receipt (my fault- that's what I get for leaving the diaper bag on the floor!)

I think that's it for this past week- I'm sure Nathan will find something new, exciting, and off limits to give her this coming week.

Abby is so big! Every time I hear about her crawling or standing, I think that Emmy is way behind! I guess I will be content with her just rolling everywhere. That is hilarious about everything she eats. Emmy usually tries to eat non-food items like the table, highchair straps, etc. I am sure she would go crazy if I gave her anything other than baby food. We miss you guys and love reading your blog - you are so great at posting a lot. Obviously I am a slacker at posting. Oh well. :)
