And just like that, he's all grown up

The 25th was Nate's first day of Kindergarten.  I absolutely cannot believe that he's old enough to be in school; I don't know how the past 5 1/2 have gone by so quickly.

We were all a little sad to see him go.

They let parents come in and drop off the kids inside the classroom the first day, so I took advantage of that and went with him to school.

His teacher had a coloring activity all ready for them which he immediately started.

After a quick picture he told me "Mom- you need to leave now." I think that means he's ready for school! So far he is loving his teacher and class, is making new friends, and having a lot of fun. The early mornings and no naps have made for some grouchier evenings but we're adjusting and he's doing great! one of the reasons we love this elementary school is they let the kids play on the playground before school starts- so between his early morning play time, recess, PE, and playground time after he gets out he thinks school is pretty great!
