We started off the morning with our tradition birthday donut- always pink with sprinkles :)
She loved her presents this year- I think every one of them was something to do with dolls (new ones or accessories). She is definitely in a mothering/baby doll phase right now.
She's really not a big dessert fan (surprising I know!) except for ice cream, so pink ice cream cake was her birthday treat.
We love this girl so much. She has definitely been the hardest child we've raised so far- she is just so independent and opinionated and has to do things her way. She knows what she wants and fights for it. I'm hoping that someday all of these qualities will be for her benefit! But despite all the challenges she is one amazing girl. She is so full of love and loves to laugh.
At 2 years Elise:
-is such a great talker! I love our conversations.
-loves anything to do with babies. This is a blessing and curse with a new baby in our house...
-Sleeps in a toddler bed
-No longer uses a pacifier
-She loves to color
-Thinks she's a big kid like Nate and Abby
-Fights constantly with Abby, yet I think they're secretly best friends
-Adores Nate- she loves to sit on his lap for family prayer
-Dotes on Bekah. I think Elise has given that girl more kisses then all the rest of us combined. She constantly asks throughout the day if it's her turn to hold Bekah.
-Loves, loves, loves reading. She would be so content to let people read to her for hours (unfortunately when you can't read for hours she gets upset!)
-Can count to 13
-Thinks she knows how to write her name
-Prayers on her own without help (but still needs it!)
-Loves jumping on the trampoline
-Plays tackle football with Nate and Abby
-She has a great imagination and hangs in with the wild stories and scenarios Nate and Abby make up
-Her favorite TV show is Wild Kratts and Magic School Bus
-She love princesses ("pincess")
-Her favorite colors are pink and purple
-She loves run down the street to our neighbor's house. I definitely have to keep an eye on this girl!

Head: 19 1/4 in 85%

Our 3rd child is the hardest as well. He makes me so tired. I would say it must be a 3rd child thing except that you and I are both the 3rd! So it can't be that. ...haha
