Craftiness

I got a sewing machine last week and I've been busy using it since then. It's been fun getting back into sewing mode, and while I have lost a lot of my skills (there weren't much to start with) I am remembering some stuff and making the rest of it up as I go...it's fun...not always pretty...but fun.

First project: fitted sheets for Nathan's room
Second project: curtains for Nathan's room

coming up next...bumpers, dust ruffle, and quilt for Nathan (aren't I ambitious- too bad I don't know exactly how to make a quilt...or bumpers. I guess I'll just improvise as I go) and then curtains for the living room and dining room.
Wish me luck

Good luck! You are brave and awesome. I wouldn't know where to start to make anything with a sewing machine!

Great job! They all look awesome. I love sewing too. When Eliot is down for a nap I put my machine on the coffee table and sew while I watch TV. It's probably one of my favorite things to do.

Great job! I did some sewing at home this summer. It was fun! What is a bumper?

Way to go! I can't wait to get a sewing machine. It is so rewarding to make things yourself. Quilting is definitely on my top 5 things to learn list (a list that I am starting right now).
