It all really started on Wednesday. Me and my friend Kelly drove up to the airport and picked up a guy named Josh- he was interviewing at Baylor this weekend and staying at our home. Because he was flying standby, he came Wednesday morning, interviewed Thursday and Friday, then left Saturday. On top of that we had another interviewee staying with us Friday through Saturday. So in between getting everyone to and from campus, I had plenty of stuff to do at home.
This is us and Josh- he's from Salt Lake (he went to the U...which we can forgive if he decides to come here) We're hoping he gets in to continue the Mormon PA tradition at Baylor.
Friday was the craziest day. Chris had two scholarships due that we decided last minute to apply for. I dropped Chris and Josh off at school. Headed up to Costco to get gas and pictures for Chris's applications, came back home to give Nathan a quick nap, then our other student BJ arrived and I dropped him off at school. Chris was working on the scholarships, and after completely finishing all the essays found out that it wouldn't print. So I ran home (thankfully Chris had the laptop and transfered everything onto it) and printed it all off, ran back to the school to give it to Chris for a few signatures, then hurried to go to Chris's home teachee's house. She needed a ride to pick up her kids from school (she has no car and splits custody with her ex). She said it would only take 30 minutes to get there, but it took me 3 hours to make the round trip! And it was pouring rain with little visiblity the whole way. And on the way back she got a little lost and we took the long way back.
It took so long that the post office closed, so I drove straight over to pick up Chris (it's now 5:30), he dropped me and Nathan off at home and then drove up to the downtown post office (open till 7) and because it was rush hour, it took him 1 hour and 15 minutes to get back home. By the time he got home and scarfed down dinner, it was time to pick up BJ from his day of interviewing. After playing host, we finally were ready for bed, but we still had to finish 2 scholarship essays that had to be submitted online by midnight. We finally got them written and submitted by 11:15 and then we headed to bed.
Whew...then on Saturday Chris dropped BJ off at the airport, got Josh to the airport, and headed back to campus by 9 to help with interviews. At 1:30 we were done, I picked up the guys, we came home, BJ left, and we finally breathed...then we decided we deserved a break so we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and some window shopping at the Galleria (the way fancy mall here).
This is how we walked around the mall. Nathan pushed from the bottom and we steered from the top. Everyone thought he was adorable :)

That seriously makes me stressed just reading about your week. You guys are so nice to host students and serve others!
Wow! My gosh that is horrible! I just found your blog and think Nathan is so cute. I wanted to invite you to read ours if you want. We don't have a password so you can just add it if you want to, no worries if you don't. Can you believe our boys are almost 10 months. Yay! I hope next week goes better.
