and not a picture to prove it, but I promise we've had a busy day!
We got started nice and early at 6:30 when Nathan decided he didn't need any more sleep...so I got him out of bed and we started playing downstairs...we have a crazy boy!
He ate breakfast at 7:15 and we were dressed and out the door headed for the gym by 8:00. Nathan did really well in the daycare at the gym today...much better than any other day so far. (I got a membership to the YMCA for me to get back in shape and for Nathan to get some time away from me and hopefully overcome his extreme separation anxiety)
We then went home for a quick nap (Nathan) and shower (me) before we headed out to the park for playgroup. Nathan had a blast running around pretending that he was a big kid. Now that he can walk on his own the park is a lot more fun. We spent about an hour and a half there and he loved it and was so sad to go home.
We took another nap and then headed out the Children's Museum. Chris got out of class early and was able to book it home to go with us. Nathan had fun- it was his first time going now that he can walk so he was all over the place. I was glad Chris was there to keep up with him.
We hurried home, ate dinner and watched a Conference talk we missed.
After we finished dinner we took a walk over to the UT-University of Texas...not Utah :) - Rec center to find the sand volleyball courts where Chris will play his intramural game tomorrow! He's on a sand volleyball team and we're super excited to see him play! It took a while to walk there and back, and we talked to some of his classmates who had a game tonight, so over an hour later we finally made it back home.
We got home, gave Nathan a bath, Chris went to go work out, and I put Nathan to bed.
I feel like this is the first time we've had all day to just sit, but I guess I should probably go do the dishes, or the laundry, or clean up Nathan's toys, or make the curtains I finally got material for, or finish the wreath I started 2 months ago...
or I could just go to bed and do that all tomorrow :)
