One of the last nights together we carved a pumpkin! Chris and Nathan had the fun job of cleaning it out while I served as official photographer. Nathan had a blast with all the guts of the pumpkin. At first he was a little apprehensive...it does feel pretty funny...but he quickly learned how fun it is. The best part was that he kept putting all of the insides back in the pumpkin after he and Chris took them out. It was adorable. After bath and bedtime I carved the pumpkin while Chris sat beside me and studied (oh how excited we are for graduation! Only 1 year and 1 month left!)
We had such a fun time- we're glad we found a pumpkin this year before Halloween (unlike last year). Nathan loved to point at it and say "pukin"...too cute.

I love the one with Nathan's whole arm submerged in the pumpkin. Funny that he enjoyed the guts so much!
How fun!! Your pumpkin turned out wonderfully! Hope you and Nathan are enjoying Grama and Grampa time in Virginia! I bet your mom is loving it!
