It's Raining It's Pouring

After months of no measurable rain we finally had a big storm roll through yesterday. Nathan woke of from his nap thrilled with the sound outside, so when the lightening calmed down we headed out to play...as in Nathan ran around and played while I sat right inside the door watching him.
At first he was a little hesitant, but in no time he was his crazy self running all over.

Abby wanted to join in on the fun, so I pulled out the Bumbo- she loves watching Nathan be crazy so I think she really enjoyed it.

 Best of all was that the rain brought some cooler weather- it felt wonderful! So good that Nathan ran inside and grabbed Buzz Lightyear and they "flew" all over the walkway.

We're excited for more rainy days to come (as long as they aren't hurricanes!)
