What a Week

Sunday- have people over for dinner. not bad, just never a super relaxing thing you know?
Also, One of the onlays on Chris's tooth comes off...turns out I over cooked the brownies- whoops.  He makes it to Walgreens minutes before it closes and buys some super awesome stuff that is supposed to put it back on till you can get to a dentist...falls out within 30 minutes. Problem is we have a dental HMO and are assigned to a nasty place- we were hoping this stuff would work till we could switch to a better office (would take a week)....no such luck!

Monday- spent the morning driving around trying to find a dentist who takes our insurance that doesn't look super sketchy...find a great one (all rich looking patients, curteous receptionists, nice cars in the parking lot) only to find out that they are no longer accepting our insurance :(  Have to go with our second choice.
Chris ends up having to go to the super sketchy dentist and gets his tooth fixed because it fell out again- while in surgery.  The visit should have been free and we were charged money- lame.

Tuesday- frustating day on the phone with the dental insurance and dental office. Our insurance says we shouldn't have paid, the office refuses to refund the money. Fun fun.
Chris works super late (it seems as though every patient single has major issues!) and I have to bring the kids to mutual. Thankfully they did really well.

Wednesday- prepping Nathan for a colonoscopy on Thursday---not a fun thing to do.  Clear liquid diet after lunch = no fun. Let's just say we go through a lot of Miralax. Super fun to force your kid to drink 4 oz of Miralax mixture every 15 minutes.

Thursday- Nathan has his colonoscopy and upper endoscopy....does really well but is always super emotional for me. Not the best news in the world but bad either.  Now we're just waiting on some biopsy and test results.

Friday- Get pulled over coming home from the gym.  Turns out our registration expired...fyi the expiration date of 12-11 (December 2011) looks very similar to 11-12 (November 2012) when you look at backwards everyday.  Also find out I never put our new insurance card in the car.  Expired registration and expired insurance...what a winner I am. Thankfully the kind police man let me off with a warning.  With two little kids in the car and being 9 months pregnant I must have looked like a mental case.
I rush home, shower, find insurance cards, figure out what to do to get our registration fixed (why did they not send us a reminder? I remember signing up for one! And we just got the car in July 2011...we only registered the car for 5 months? What's up with that?)
Then take both kids to the county tax office to reregister, realize after 30 minutes in line they don't take credit/debit cards...only cash or check- good thing I have neither with me.  Find a bank, don't know my pin, have to bring both kids inside. The teller is flabergasted I don't know my pin...sorry Charlie, I'm just that dumb- please stare at me like I'm a complete idiot before you hand me the money.
Go back to the Tax office, wait in a longer line than before.  Abby eats goldfish and fruit snacks off the nasty, dirty ground.  Finally get to the window to find that yep- we paid for our new registration online last year, unfortunately we never received the stickers in the mail.  Lame.  Only cost $7 to get a reprint of the stickers we already paid for and never got....

What a week!

I'm exhausted and frustrated just reading that yucky week. I'm sorry you had to live it! But it's at least behind you!
