Santa came a bit early

Since we're spending Christmas with my family, we decided to give Nathan and Abby their bigger gifts before we left. On Sunday when they woke up from naps we had Christmas #1!
We told the kids Santa came while they were sleeping, Nathan's face was priceless when he realized what was happening :)

Nathan loves his new bike- he immediately took it out for spin. On Monday morning he woke up super early and made Chris take out for a ride. Abby is thrilled that she has a bike all her own now.

The kitchen was Abby's big gift, but we knew both kids were going to love it- and we were right! It has already provided hours of entertainment (and we only have a few accessories! Santa's bringing the rest of the stuff later).  They love making soup- my favorites so far have been French Toast Soup, Mac n Cheese Soup, and Mashed Potato Soup with Kit Kats- yum.

And not to be left out, our sweet Elise was celebrating with us too, she just didn't get any presents this time...

We ended our Christmas celebrations with the kids new favorite Christmas movie- Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and some popcorn.
