I was struggling with what to do and we ended up with a lot of eating...
We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and pretended to be a caterpillar and turn into a butterfly. The kids were so cute and they were scooting on the ground being a caterpillar.
Then we ate caterpillars
We sorted insects and each picked their favorite...way too many kids picked the cockroach :/
Practiced our handwriting skills
And then made some ice cream!
Thankfully I'd done a test run the night before for FHE and learned a lot before attempting this with 6 kids 3 and younger, but the ice cream was really delicious!
We read a book about ice cream and then played a card game where they had to act like different bugs...so we ran out of time and didn't get to eat our cupcake ice cream cones! (seriously, this day revolved around food!)
