18 Months

Way back in February Elise turned 18 months old.  I can't believe how fast t he time has gone with her! I swear she was just a tiny baby and now she's talking and acting like a real grown up kid.  Blows my mind.

18 month stats:
Height- 32 in (60%)
Weight- 24 lbs (45 %0
Head- 19 in (90%)

At 18 months Elise:
*Is just as crazy as ever! She knows what she wants and usually doesn't stop till she gets her way.
*Loves to play pretend, especially imagining she's a dog. At least 5 times a day she gets on all fours, starts barking and wants you to pet her....You have to pet her and tell her "good doggie" before she'll stop.
*She loves Frozen and wants to watch "Let it Go" on the computer every time we sit down at the table.  She whines pitifully "Le-i-go?, Le-i-go?" I usually give in because I'm a pushover with this girl
*She still gets takes a bottle (a couple ounces before she sleeps... I'm seriously a total pansy when it comes to this girl!)
*loves to be outside.  She has learned how to open the back door and always asks to go "ou-si? ou-si?"
*She loves her baby dolls- don't ever try to take those away from her.  She loves to give them kisses and hugs.
*She kind of a bully.  She fights for wants she wants...even if it means taking it from someone else.
*She gives the best kisses.  She grabs your face, pulls you in, and smacks a huge kiss right on your lips.  I love it.
*She typically talks/moans for almost an hour to put herself to sleep at night.
*She is so talkative. I was trying to think of all the words she knows and I can't even count! She doesn't say many full sentences but can.  She loves to point out animals and knows so many names and sounds.
*She loves to read.  She lacks the attention span to get through most books in one sitting but goes from book to book and rapid speed.
*She loves to swing and go down slides
*She gets into everything.  We now always keep the bathroom door closed (because she dunks things in the toilet then eats them) and hide the baby powder (she loves to dump it everywhere). She is also our first kid to experiment with poo as an art medium.

*She loves animals as long as they keep their distance.  However this past week she cured herself of this fear and now can't get enough of our neighbors dog Remy. She insists on being next to him at all times when they're together and must be holding his leash to take him on walks.
*She's in nursery and loving it! (And we are too!)

*She loves to eat.  She is constantly asking for a "nak" (aka fruit snack).
*She is still our hardest child- most stubborn and temperamental.  Her lows are definitely low but her highs are high.  When she's in a good mood and happy it is amazing! She has such a funny personality and a contagious laugh that melts our hearts.  You can't ever stay mad at her for long.

We sure do love this girl!
