Abby's 3!

Back in February Abby turned 3! I can't believe how much she's grown and the amazing girl that she is!

We started off the day with her only real birthday request- a pink donut :)

She was lucky- her birthday fell on the same day as her preschool (she loves school) and she was so excited to bring treats for her class.

I picked her up and surprised her with lunch at the park.

She asked for taco salad for dinner (her favorite!) and pink ice cream for dessert.

At 3 Abby's stats are:
Height- 38 5/8 in (75%)
Weight- 37 lbs (95%)

Here's some info on Abby now-
*She's basically a second mother to anyone around her.  She loves to be in charge and be helpful, whether you want it or not :)
*She is still super cuddly. We have a few minutes of cuddle time after every nap.
*She wears skirts whenever possible
*She prefers all outfits to  include the colors pink or purple.
*She knows how to write her name.
*She loves to ride a "big kid bike" with training wheels.
*She is still as messy of an eater as ever.
*She asks for her hair to be done like a certain princess everyday.  Usually it's Elsa or Anna hair, but occasionally she'll throw in Cinderella or Tiana. She doesn't however actually like to have her hair combed which makes it difficult.
*She loves to sing.  While her pitch is far from perfect her energy and enthusiasm is amazing.
*Her current favorite songs include "Let It Go", "I am a Child of God", and "Follow the Prophet".
*She loves to color and is so much more interested in art and writing then Nathan was at this age.
*She thinks she can read and loves to "read" everything.
*She is very talkative but usually only to other kids specific adults. She is still very shy even around people we know very well.
*She is finally potty trained! We think this third try will be the one that works!
*She loves to help cook.  If I'm in the kitchen making something it never fails that she runs and and grabs a chair or climbs on the counter to help.
*She is very sweet to her baby dolls.  Many days I find a doll all wrapped up and in the crib for nap time.  She will rock, cuddle, and sing to her babies.
*She will always be a daddy's girl.  Nothing makes her happier then when Chris is doting on her.
*She is a monkey- she will climb all over you.
*She is still just as clumsy as ever.  The doctor tested her for balance an other issues and declared that her official diagnosis is that Abby is just clumsy. Her legs are currently covered in bruises and scrapes but she never lets it stop her.  She's even learned how to put on her own band aids quite well.

We love this girl so much.  She is such a fun, spunky, sweet, kind, firecracker of a girl.  We can't wait to see what this next year will bring!
