Right before it started the kids were fascinated with the thunder and lightning. Then the rain came!

Even though our backyard and garage completely flooded nothing came close to coming in our house. We ended up getting about 6.5 inches of rain in just a few hours so it was fun and intense, but we're definitely not looking to repeat it any time soon!

Oh man! Glad your house was OK and I hope nothing was permanently damaged in the garage.
