In celebration of Chris's 27th birthday (on the 27th!) here's a list of 27 reasons why Chris is Awesome

1- He is happy. Optimism is one of his strongest personality traits.
2- He is a great father.  Nathan and Abby cannot get enough of him.
3- He is dedicated.  School has not been easy or fun, and he's been going for 5 years straight with only a few weeks of vacation that whole time.
4- He is funny.  Laughter always fills our home.
5- He is the best horsey Nathan could ever hope for.
6- He does everything 100%- no half-hearted effort for him
7- He's the best back/foot/shoulder rubber ever
8- He loves sports- which is sometimes a negative- but usually it makes for some fun nights/afternoons with yelling, both good and bad.
9- He loves to do things which makes for fun family times.
10- His frugality is hilarious- I won't go into details about how long he's had some articles of clothing...
11- Family is more important to him than anything.
12- He's done with school--amazing!!
13- He loves to get me food, fill up my water bottle, and cater to my every whim when I'm tired...which is every night after 9:00 or sometimes earlier.
14- He always warms up my side of the bed before I get in.
15- While he doesn't cook a ton you've never met a better reheater...no joke, it's like an art form how perfectly everything gets heated.
16- He loves to cook (specifically bake) together.
17- He still cuddles with me.
18- He folds the laundry because he knows I hate it.
19- He is always looking for ways to serve others - and is usually the first to volunteer to help someone.
20- While he doesn't love to read like I do he pretends so Nathan will see him reading (I'm convinced that if parents love to read so will the kids!) just because he knows it's important to me.
21- He loves to plan for the future.
22- He thinks a fun date is going to Costco, or to Lowe's and looking at appliances we can't ever afford.
23- He watches HGTV with me.
24- He finds joy in simple things.
25- It's always an adventure when he goes grocery shopping.  I give him the list and he always come back with tons of stuff that I wouldn't buy.  He gets so excited about his purchases - it makes me smile every time.
26- He has somehow managed school, work, a crazy wife, and two kids into his life and stayed sane.
27- He is my best friend.
