Christmas Morn

Christmas morning is so magical with kids- they woke up and immediately wanted to go see what Santa brought them and if he had eaten the cookies they left him.  Nathan swears that he heard Santa and Rudolph come in the middle of the night so it was so cute seeing their excitement.  While we waited for others to get up the kids played, laughed, and we had a great time together as everyone woke up and trickled into my parent's room.

We finally went downstairs and the kids saw the stash of presents- it was huge! They were so excited! Here they are all lined up on the stairs ready to go.

First they opened up their stockings

And then came all the rest of the presents! I started taking pictures and then gave up- there was too much to capture.  Here's some of the few that I got.
Nathan loves his new Lionel Messi soccer jersey brought all the way from Spain- he opened it up and immediately tore off his pajamas to put it on.  He's one classy kid. With his new shin guards he's ready to play soccer in the spring!

Abby followed the whole "get naked" deal when she received some princess shoes and realized that with her pajamas on they wouldn't fit, so again, off came the clothes.  We have little nudists on our hands :)

Elise, who was happy as long as someone would hold, her got some great gifts- new toys for our sweet girl who is grabbing at everything now!

The kids got so many wonderful gifts- dinosaurs, dress up, books, a piggy bank, stickers, a remote control car, gloves (which Nathan insists on wearing them all the time now), pretend makeup, hair accessories, play food, and so much more.  They are definitely spoiled and blessed kids.

Chris and I received many wonderful gifts too- we're super excited to use our new ice cream maker!  We are grateful for everyone's generosity.  It is so much fun watching everyone open presents and sharing in the excitement of being with family- we love Christmas!
