I'm going to count this morning as a miracle
For some of you this will seem pretty insignificant and small
but for me, Chris, and Nathan, this was an amazing morning
Nathan drank...
out of a sippy cup!
a full ounce!
For some parents, having their child drink from a bottle or cup is normal, hey- even a newborn can do it right?
But not Nathan, he has struggled with eating since he was born, and even though we've been trying the sippy cup for 6 months up until this morning he was no closer to drinking from it than the day we started. We had tried everything we could think of- all different types, drinks, forcing him, making it a game...everything
and today it finally worked!
I'm not expecting him to drink amazingly now, I know that this is a process that will take some time, but is sure it nice to know that we're making progress!
I sure am proud of my little guy!
