On July 30th (I know I'm so behind!) Chris had his white coat ceremony that signifies moving on from his didactic (classroom) year to his clinical year. The classroom year was hard academically, but I am so proud for how well Chris did, ending the year as one of the top students in the class. He worked so hard and had a lot of fun with his classmates, but boy are we both glad to be done with the didactic year!
The ceremony was nice - and not too long! There were a few speakers and then each of the students was given their new jacket (It's kind of lame, because we had already bought a jacket at the beginning of the year...but now he has two...). Nathan did really well throughout the whole ceremony, except for when he dumped a whole bag of crumbly snacks on the ground. I wish I had gotten some better pictures, but the "professional" photographer stood so that no one could get a good shot but her...so no nice pictures because we're too cheap to pay the absurd amount she wants for them.
After the ceremony we had some refreshments and talked with friends. Nathan was the star of the party wearing his little Baylor scrubs- he is too adorable! He loved all the attention.

getting the coat...I officially hate the photographer for getting in my way
Wahoo!!! He made it!

We are so proud of Chris- he's going to be a great PA!!!!
