Down on the Farm

On Friday I decided to take Nathan to Frying Pan Park.  It's a working farm about 20 minutes away from my parent's house so I'd thought we'd go and see the animals (and it's FREE! just the right price!) It was a little chilly but we bundled up and had tons of fun!

Our first stop was the pigs. Nathan loved looking at the little baby pigs who were sleeping.  Saying "oink oink".  Adorable

We then stopped off to see some dairy cows...he kept saying "moo" until he realized there was a very large muddle right in front of the cows...so we had to leave the cows :)

We saw the bunnies

and the goat

and some far away horses)

and some peacocks and turkeys.

We went on a tractor ride around the farm and Nathan loved it! I don't know what was better, being right by the tractor and having him point and say "trator" five billion times or seeing all the animals and making the sounds all over again...best $3 I've ever spent- he was in heaven the whole ride.

Then we played at the little tractors they had at the playground

He just loved it!

When we got back to the car he spent about 5 minutes staring at the garbage truck that had just pulled up.  What a great way to end the trip!
We had so much fun just being together- he's such a fun kid to hang out with! I just love my little guy and all our adventures together.
