Miller Time

Last Saturday we had our first real date since Abby was born- we left the kiddos with the babysitters and headed over to Miller Outdoor Theater to see Hairspray.

 The Theater is awesome- they have amazing shows COMPLETELY FREE! Exactly the kind of place we can afford :)
We were super lucky- we got there a little later than we should have but got a great parking spot.  When we got to the lawn it was packed but we somehow managed to find an empty spot for our blanket at the front and center...awesome!

 The production was really good- it was a bunch of teenagers who belong to an elite theater group and they did great.  The music, sets, lighting, acting, and singing were well done. Neither of us had seen it before (only the movie- at the dollar theater...and it was the "sing along" version, so the place was packed with screaming 10 year-olds singing...) so it was fun to see the real performance.

We're definitely excited for more dates to the Theater!
