A Series of Unfortunate Events

*In October our computer died- completely and utterly kicked the bucket.  Thanks to a wonderful and smarter-than-us friend our pictures were saved but the computer was a total loss. So we bought a new computer.
*In April our TV died...we're still working of the replacement.
*In May we took our car in for an oil change- we were told that our tires are about to die- all four if them.   Do you know how much tires cost? I had absolutely no idea they were so expensive! Good thing we don't have to pass any state inspections right now, the kind mechanic told us we would fail...
*On Sunday morning I noticed my upper jaw was hurting- I thought I felt something hard in the back left- maybe my wisdom tooth?  Yep- Monday morning one wisdom tooth broke through.  It's causing some pain as it is attempting to move around my teeth---hopefully my retainer will prevent that!---so off to the oral surgeon I go. I was told years ago that if I ever got them removed it would be complicated because of the location...more money than just a simple extraction
*On Tuesday night our new computer crashed! Apparently we had a poor anti-virus system...I freaked out again because it had been a while since we backed up anything.  Our super smart friend once again came to our aid.  He is amazing.

---on top of all this we are completely living off student loans so everything we spend is actually costing us twice as much in the long run---

But we have so many blessings too- our computer savvy friend Mike has saved our photos and videos both times our computers died- the memories of our children are priceless. I just barely got dental insurance (thank you new health care laws that allow me to go on my parents plan!) 4 days before my wisdom tooth came in--coincidence? I think not.  Our car is still functioning really well with not-so-great tires.  We have had the ability to find good deals on all of the things we need to replace, saving us a lot...and we have two amazing kids, a great marriage, a home, food, family, friends, the gospel...the list goes on and on...
So even though things definitely don't go the way I wish they would all the time I'm glad Heavenly Father has got it all under control!

Hey my wisdom teeth are coming in now too! I have to say now that I'm on my own and poor I am mad at my mom for not taking care of this when I was still under her insurance! I hope all goes well for you with that. I saw your mom today...I guess I might see you soon!
