Mosquitoes are every where here in Houston, and while for most of us they are just really irritating and annoying, for Elise they are a big problem- she does not react well when she gets bit. She gets all swollen near the bite site and instead of just getting red and itchy she gets huge, crusty, pussy, hard blisters. It's gross. Unfortunately the realities of living where we do mean no matter the amount of bug spray we use she will get bitten. Until a few weeks ago the bites were on her arms and legs only, but then she got one on her face.
Thankfully this one didn't get super blistery and nasty, she just looked like she'd been on the wrong side of some one's fist.
Thankfully the swelling went down and the next day she was almost back to normal, but she sure looked a bit interesting for the day.

Oh my goodness, poor girl! This is how Owen has always been too, like huge things that look like he has some disease or something. I'm sorry Elise has this same sensitivity too! She is such a cute girl, big bug bite or not!
