Yesterday it rained- Hallelujah- which meant that our daily trek to the pool was canceled...
We were bored.
So we pulled out a cookie cook book and Nathan picked out any cookie he wanted...thankfully we had all the ingredients for his chosen "Black Cookie" aka Mrs. Field's Black and White Cookies.
I learned a few things from this baking adventure--
*Nathan and Abby are scared of the electric mixer
*Cocoa powder and Nathan should not be near each other
*Kids will always make more mess than you think possible
*Don't leave the chocolate chips out- I started with one cup and by the time we needed them there were only 3/4 left...I don't know who to blame more- me or Nathan...
*You are never too old to lick the spoon
*Practicing counting is way more fun when food is involved
*And there isn't much better than eating cookies with my favorite boy
Yea for rainy days!
