Yesterday we went down to Surfside Beach with some friends-
it was amazing.
In our 2 years here we'd only been to Galveston Beach, so we were excited to check it out. We were very excited that you could drive on the beach- no more lugging all of our junk down to the water! The best part was that it costs $10 to get on the beach, but because it's so late in the season we got in for free- sweet!
We left in the afternoon and spent the evening splashing in the water, building sand castles, playing football, talking, grilling, and having a wonderful time- I didn't want it to end.

We had such a great time...we plan on going again soon! (maybe this Saturday or next Saturday...anyone want to go?)

Wow, that looks so fun. I think I am missing the beach the very most, so hot, and no beach!! I love how cute your little kiddos are and I can't believe Abby was so tiny last time we went together and now she is moving around!
Abby is really showing off that beach body. :)
