A Special Sunday

Today was full of highs and lows...
Today was one one my proudest days as a mother.  For a few weeks now Nathan has been practicing bearing his testimony so he could share it in Sacrament Meeting in church- last month he said he wanted to go up so we've been working on it and today was the day.  I was so proud of him! Chris brought him up to the microphone and he did such an amazing job- he got nervous once but then had no problems.  I can't believe how much he has grown up!

Today was also a hard day for me as I was released from my calling working with the Young Women in our Ward.  I have absolutely loved working with the girls (and other amazing leaders!) these past 2 1/2 years.  While I am so sad to no longer be as actively involved I am so excited for the new group of women who get to work with the girls.

One of the things I'm most proud of is that I was able to receive my Personal Progress Recognition Award again as a leader just last month.  My goal was to finish  before being released and I did it! I was putting on a necklace today for church when Nathan told me I should wear my temple necklace So I went and put it on --he's so sweet! When I told him I would no longer be going to Young Women's (he calls it "the womens") he told me not to be sad, I can go tomorrow instead - I love the Young Women's program!
