New Toys

Nathan received a bit of money from his grandparents and he was so excited to buy a new toy- so we headed to the dollar section of Target...
Nathan quickly spied his chosen toy- a matchbox car- it was love at first sight. 
Abby got a wee bit jealous; her tears were so tragically sad when I told her the car wasn't for her.  Nathan in his sweetest, cutest voice, looked up at me and said, "Mommy, can I use my special money and get Abby a car too?"
It melted my heart.
He was so excited to hand the cashier the money and get the change back- it was so cute.

So now we have two new cars to add to our collection and two very happy kids

Our good friends are moving and passed on some toys to us that Nathan and Abby are loving.  The highlight has definitely been the ball pit...

Don't ask why they both have no shorts on...as I was blowing up the ball pit Abby pulled off her shorts then Nathan followed suit, when I asked him why he said, "Mom, I can't play football with shorts on." Why yes Nathan- that would just be absurd to play football with shorts on...
