Friday-
We went to our first Astros game- they may be the worst team in baseball but we still had a lot of fun. Nathan had been looking forward to the game with so much anticipation- he was so excited!
While Abby loved watching the game, cheering, and dancing, I think her favorite part was the oreos I brought as a treat...
We watched the first 5 or 6 innings before heading down to the kids zone for some baseball fun.
--Waiting to get in the gate...me in all my 39 weeks and 4 day glory...really ready to be done being pregnant!
Nathan ran from 3rd base to home, racing a ginormous baseball player.
and of course we caught the cuteness in a video...
After finishing up in the kids zone we headed home, and even though it was way past their bed time they were both so wired up Nathan insisted on playing some baseball outside with Chris, and Abby had to join in too.
Thanks Jillian for the tickets! Maybe next year my kids will actually complete the library's summer reading program and get free tickets themselves...
Saturday-
After a wonderful morning playing, cleaning, and washing the car we headed to the pool! Abby and Nathan continue to be amazing swimmers- Nathan went the whole time without any type of floaties- he kept insisting he had to be in the big pool and "practice swimming with Dad." He is totally rocking the whole swimming thing- I can't believe how good he is!
Once nap time was over Chris and I headed out for a last minute date night! We had a a groupon that was about to expire so our good friend Heather came over and fed the kids dinner (thank you!!!) while we went and got some delicious Greek food. The place was a bit sketchy looking...inside a gas station...but all the reviews online said it was great; and it was! I was so full when we left...it was good!
While we've had a lot of fun this weekend I'm hoping that next week we will get to meet our baby girl!
