Bathtime Art

Monday was not my finest day as a mother- no one had a great day, Elise was super grouchy, the kids were frustrated we weren't doing anything fun (house hunting is the pits with kids!), and I had no patience for any of it (never good for a Monday).  So by the time Chris came home Family Home Evening plans weren't done so I improvised- thank you pinterest for your wealth of ideas.  There was no lesson, just an activity (i.e. attempting keeping the kids happy and contained while I tried to pull myself together)  Thankfully it worked!
All it took was a bit of leftover shaving cream from last year's preschool, food coloring, some paint brushes, and a little bit of nudity and the kids were happy.

 

Maybe next week we'll do something super spiritual and perfectly planned out for family home evening...
