We Stay Busy

We split up for the morning- I took Elise and went and played in our Stake's Volleyball Tournament.  It's pretty competitive so I wasn't going to miss it! Unfortunately our team didn't win- (we never got into a great rhythm) but it really felt so nice to get back out and play!
Our ward had enough women playing to fill 3 teams! I was glad because with only 2 games going at any time there was always someone to watch Elise for me! (Check her out in the back row- I'd like to pretend she was my little cheerleader but she basically slept or ate the entire time)

While I was gone Chris had fun with the other 2 kids.

They got donuts

Went to the lawn mower store to pick up something...fuel stabilizer maybe? The kids loved all the machines.

They also went grocery shopping and then headed to Costco.
 Abby got a little tired on the way over- they had a busy morning!

At Costco they sang Abby's favorite song, "once there was a Snowman"

 Then they ate some lunch- yummy Costco pizza! (and the fruit they had just bought!)

Then I came home, we played, then Chris and I headed out for a date night! We were supposed to use up a groupon to a Brazilian Restaurant, but in a weird twist of events they ended up being packed and we didn't have a reservation...since we already had the kids at a friends house there was no way were were passing up the opportunity to have dinner without them, so we headed to our favorite restaurant- Chuy's!

It was a fun and full Saturday for sure!

Last Saturday
Not as quite as fun as last the week before, but we tried.

We started off the morning at Chick-Fil-A for our free breakfast.  The kids loved playing and Abby climbed up to the top for the first time!

Then the rest of the morning/afternoon was full of house hunting.  The poor kids were troopers as we viewed 7 houses and drove around looking for more rental signs. Still no house yet, we crossed off a ton of houses from our list but we have some options, so we'll see what happens! (If you hadn't heard we're moving next month).

They were much happier when we headed to our friends house for a pregame BYU v Utah football party! They had fun playing with friends and showing off their BYU clothes- thanks Mom for bringing them out!

Unfortunately the game started way too late, so we headed home, got the kids to bed, then watched the extremely disappointing game at home...that was one of the most frustrating games I've ever watched- and it ended so late! So we were frustrated and tired the next morning for church- lame. We're trying to learn not to not get our hopes up whenever BYU plays anything...oh well.  Thanks Wendy for having us over!
