It's still hot here

For all the people enjoying sweater weather, the leaves changing colors, pumpkins and apples and cinnamon treats, just know that all of us here in Houston are jealous...

It's still hot.
and humid.

We were tempted by two days this past week where the temperature was in the 80s, but that quickly went away and we were once again cursing the heat and humidity.
So natually we went to the splash pad!
On our way we stopped to check out the ducks.  We quickly left when that large duck tried to eat Abby.

The kids had a blast playing in the water and at the playground with their friends.

Abby really enjoyed eating some snacks

and lunch

have I told you that her world revolves around food? 

And Elise slept, and ate, and slept...what a great kid!
