Grandma's Visit- The Museum

On Monday we headed to the Museum of Natural Science. First we went to the energy area of the museum- they each tried making the equivalent energy of gasoline using this wheel- in 30 seconds they each made about 1.5 drops of gasoline.  I did really well and got around 2.5. it was actually kind of difficult.

We then headed over to the dinosaurs- the kids were mostly interested in the paintings and video screens of dinosaurs, but they finally got interested when we saw the stegosaurus and t-rex.

We had such a great time doing so many fun things while my mom was here- we sure do wish our family lived closer!

And unfortunately she left Tuesday morning- which was actually a perfect thing since Elise got sick Tuesday evening, followed by Nathan on Friday. We're glad we got to go and do a lot of fun things last week to make up for such a slow, TV laden week this week!
