Yesterday I had great plans to go to a park and let Nathan and Abby run, crawl, and get out all their energy so they'd take great naps...then a friend reminded me that Houston has been invaded by mosquitoes...going outside is generally not recommended unless you want to be eaten alive.
So instead we met up with a few friends and the Children's Museum.
This was Abby's first time going since she became mobile- so she was happy. For the first bit she did what she does best -eat and be cute . . .or eat like a pig- at least she's a cute pig :)
Nathan always loves the Children's Museum, and yesterday was no exception. First stop is always the ambulance/police car area.
Then we took a stroll through the grocery store and picked up the essentials...ice cream!
Naturally I brought the camera and only took about 8 pictures...having to kids going opposite directions was harder than I anticipated. Whenever I'd see a kid running around all alone I've always wondered where the parents are . . . now I know . . . they're with the other kid! Oh well, we all survived and had a great time, and Nathan didn't terrorize anyone (at least while I could see him)
. .. and as I'm writing this Abby just ate not one but two m&ms...pretty sure that the clincher for being named mother of the year . . .
