Conference Weekend

We've been hanging out watching General Conference (you can watch it here...and it's amazing!) this weekend.  Nathan has been enjoying looking for the Prophet and the Temple.

We started off the morning with pancakes.

Then we we were able to have some of the Young Women from our ward over for the first session.
I made 2 pans of cinnamon rolls so there were plenty left over for today!

While Chris was at the priesthood session last night I met up with a few other moms and their kids at Chick-Fil-A.  Nathan loved playing and the ice cream...sorry Kim and Jillian he spilled it on you!

And today we did a bit of this

...really just Abby and Nathan- no naps for me :(

We've also done a bit of (rental) house shopping...yep- we're getting serious about finding a new place to live! Some has been good, some not so good.  But we're confident we'll find the place for us. This morning we went on a family walk around a neighborhood we're looking at living in- it was wonderful.  I can't wait to live in a real neighborhood!

We are so blessed to have a living prophet and apostles to teach us how we can find true happiness and become more like our Savior.  We love Conference weekend! Check it out at http://lds.org/general-conference.
