We started off making Halloween Houses.Nathan (with Chris's help) made ours. He did a good job eating the frosting and the candy...Chris and Nathan made theirs the "gross house." It surely was.
While it didn't win the contest (can you tell why? we had some pros in our midst!) it definitely was fun to watch them make together!
We then ate dinner- Jen made us pumpkin soup from a real pumpkin- so cool! (and delicious). I made my great grandmother famous rolls (I'd never actually made them before so I was so nervous but they turned out pretty good. They are hands-down the best rolls ever.)
We then played blindfolded pictionary
Chris and I won- ha ha- technically we only played once when...
Someone knocked on the door. Jen opened it and jumped back scared. Outside was a girl covered in dirt and leaves in shock asking us to call her mother over and over and over. I was terrified- I honestly thought this girl had just been assaulted or something like that. Some of the guys try to help her while Terrell tried to call her mother...scary! Then the apartment manager came took her away and she was gone. We wanted to call the cops but before we could there was another knock on the door. It was a lady looking for her sister- she said she had gotten a call saying someone had seen her sister. She said that her sister died in a car accident in 1972 and comes back every year on this day...creepy. It was soooooo weird. We shut the door and start to put some pieces of the puzzle together and quickly realized these two people were pranking us...so an immediate decision was made to call the cops...people were upset!
That's when Jen and Terrell couldn't contain themselves anymore...turns out the two girls were Jen's MOM and FRIEND! They had totally set us all up! It was seriously the best Halloween prank I've ever seen. They both were such good actors! There many have been some tears by me (but I wasn't the only one!)
It was awesome.
Then came the pie eating contest. At first all the guys were going to do it, but it quickly turned into all the wives...
There were 8 gummy worms hid inside each pie and the first person to find them without using their hands would win...
It made for a big yet fun mess.
When it was all over Nathan and his friend Nate wanted in on the action too...
and yes...I did push his head into the pie- I'm a good mom like that.
We had a blast with our friends- thanks so much to Jen and Terrell for an amazing party!
and if you missed Halloween Party #2 keep on reading!
