A Birthday Rodeo

While my mom was out here visiting we decided to have a joint birthday party for Nathan and Abby since their birthdays are only 1 month apart.  In honor of the Houston Rodeo (posts to come about that!) we had a Birthday Rodeo!

We got our rodeo gear on

Made some cowboy and cowgirl vests

Rode some horses

Practicing lassoing a horse

Ate some delicious food

Opened some presents

Ate some cupcakes

And played the best game of all--pig roundup! (pink pig balloons + fly swatters = awesomeness!)

We ended the party with a cowboy water gun fight...which the dad's were very interested in participating in too!

Thank you to all of Nathan and Abby's friends who came! We are so grateful that our kids have such wonderful friends.  Nathan was so sad after all the kids left- he keeps asking for his friends to come back for another party! 

And a special thanks to my mom- she is so wonderful to come and be here for our kid's birthday party and help out sooo much!
