Rodeo #2- Date Night

Last Monday Chris called in the afternoon and said he got 2 free tickets from a guy at work to go to the rodeo that night- sweet! Oh the perks of having a real job!
My mom being the sweet wonderful person she is stayed home with the kids while we headed out to see the rodeo and concert.
The rodeo was good. The bulls were really intense- not a single rider stayed on for the full 8 seconds- one guy was given a retry because his bull did something wrong but he was too shaken up to ride again---exciting!
The concert was sub par- We didn't know who the Eli Young Band was but in our expert opinion they weren't that great (maybe they're one of those bands who are better on the radio?).  Oh well the highlight of the night was definitely this wonderful couple sitting in front of us.

Here's the reenactment of their night:
They started like this at the beginning of the rodeo...

It soon became this...

then this!

We were so proud of them! It took a long time for the magic to happen which made for an exciting night wondering who would hold whose hand first :)

We then tried to go find some deep fried rodeo food and realized we had no cash :(  so we went home instead.

Thanks Mom for babysitting! We had fun!
