This morning was Nathan's first soccer game- he has been so excited for weeks! He was a bit sad he was on team Houston and not BYU, but somehow Chris convinced him that Houston and BYU are the same.
Unfortunately it was "cooler" this morning, so my summer dressed girls were a bit chilled
They started off their practice time getting to know each other.
They practiced some kicking.
Chris told Nathan to dribble the ball, so this is what he
did...apparently we need to talk about the difference between basketball
and soccer dribbling more :)
A few kids waiting for the game to start- checking out each others socks and shoes.
And then it was game time!
So how did he do?
AMAZING!
We are so proud of him- he
tries so hard! I've seriously never seen a small kid so focused. While
other kids are crying, picking flowers, and running whenever they feel,
he is intently trying to play the game. It is adorable.
And, pardon while I brag some more, he score 3 goals! His team won 6-1. Basically Nathan rocks.
His reaction to scoring a goal
The girls spent most of the game climbing all over Chris. He's Abby's human monkey bars.
We're so proud of our amazing kid!
