Elise is such a wonderful girl- she is cuddly and smiley. She is a great sitter, but has decided that she will not roll over. She prefers to be held, but will play in her exersaucer for a long time but is very good at letting us know when she's done.
She really only sleeps if she's being held or in her crib- not much car seat sleeping for her. If we stay at home she gets 2 long naps and 1 short nap a day, but since that rarely happens she usually takes 1 or 2 cat naps and one super long nap.
She is mostly bottle fed know and she much prefers it to nursing, but I'm still trying to force her to nurse for a bit longer. She is generally a really happy baby- she loves to smile, especially if anyone smiles at her, or if you tickle her- she is incredibly ticklish.
She is bossy- she is very good at letting you know when she's happy or when she's upset. She loves playing with toys and will put anything in her mouth.
She loves eating food- she loves bananas, strawberries, applesauce, pears, carrots, squash, spinach, and sweet potatoes. She eats a ton, definitely more than I remember Nathan and Abby eating at this age. She's working hard to keep those sweet chubby cheeks!
She is just an amazing addition to our family. Most of the people we talked to before she was born told us how the 3rd child is usually a mellow, "go with the flow" kind of baby...and while Elise has her moments she's definitely a more "I'm adorable so pay attention to me now" kind of girl. She makes herself known and stands her ground- which may be a bit more work, but I think is also makes her all the more fun.
