I don't know how time has flown by so fast but my little baby turned 4 today! Nathan has been anticipating this day for months, needless to say he was extremely excited!
Chris surprised him in the morning with his favorite thing in the whole world- a donut!
Abby was pretty happy about it too.
We went to Target and the YMCA- so glad my kids love that place- before heading to our Playgroup's Easter Egg Hunt. It was the perfect playgroup for Nathan's birthday- he loved finding and gathering all the eggs, but mostly enjoyed eating all the candy.
Nathan chose his birthday dinner- chicken, rice, broccoli, and carrots. What a healthy kid.
He opened presents- and boy was he spoiled. Thank you grandmas and grandpas!
Next came cake time! He had his usual brownies (super special "Yum Yum Brownies") and ice cream- his favorite dessert ever.
Vanessa- notice that headband was in the Easter box you sent...we're going to pretend on Sunday the box hadn't been opened yet...
We love Nathan so much and are proud of the wonderful kid he is. He is so smart, funny, and lovable. He makes me smile and I am so grateful for him. He tests my patience with his stubbornness but melts my heart with his thoughtfulness and kindness. As I held him today and told him the story of when he was born I couldn't help but tear up just a little at how fast he's grown up- good thing he'll definitely always be my baby. We love you Nathan!
