When the Keys Came to Town

Just a week after the Busbys came to visit we were able to spend time with more of our old friends- Kerry, Kevin, and their 4 awesome kids came back to Houston for a visit and I was so excited! We haven't seen they Keys since they moved away almost 2 years ago.  Abby was just 3 months old and their daughter Gentry was just a tiny newborn- it was crazy to see them now as 2 year olds! Unfortunately Nathan didn't remember them, I guess he was just too young, but he used love Avery and idolize Jace and Connor, and that came back pretty quickly.  Abby loved Avery and asked for her constantly that whole weekend (she loves older girls) and Nathan kept talking about his new friends- it was cute.

We met up the first day they were here at the Zoo.  We got there super early and saw some animals and a bit later some our friends joined us.

That Saturday we were able to meet up at a park with some a group of friends and catch up.  The kids loved playing and the adults loved talking. Our weekly volleyball night was moved to Saturday so they were even able to make it to that- just like old times.Wish I'd gotten a picture of any of that...

Kerry and I were able to talk it up during Relief Society- (so sorry to whomever was teaching!) and unfortunately that was the last we got to see of each other before they had to head back home. 
We really really really love catching up with old friends! Thanks Kerry for convincing Kevin he needed to attend the dental conference in Houston!
