Here's a few more things that happened over Christmas that are worth mentioning...(and I started writing this post over a week ago so I figured I'd just get it posted for memory's sake...)
-We had our first experience with fire ants- thankfully Nathan only found a couple, but the bites were definitely not fun! I hope we never experience that again.
-There was lots of cleaning and organizing going on...we're having a baby next month and we're not ready! So far I've totally organized the kid's room, still working on finishing the rearranging/organizing of our bedroom; I better finish it soon.
-We had lots and lots of quality dad time. Chris's first day back at work was just a little hard for both me and Nathan. It is really is nice not to change ever diaper or cook every meal...
-We went to the zoo twice- once in Phoenix and once here in Houston.
-We had two doctor visits for me...each time we had an ultrasound! We had one right before Christmas and one after. It was fun to see our baby girl twice in just 2 weeks. She's looking good (and big!)
-We spent "some" time working on Chris's masters research project...a whole post about that to come...it's possibly the worst project ever...(so far we've probably put in almost 10 hours each and there is still a lot more to do...I really think by the end of school I should have a Masters too)
-We were all sick...Chris was super sick the night before we left for Arizona and we all had pretty bad colds either in Arizona or right after we got back. Poor Nathan really was not liking the tissues- his poor little nose was so red!
-We signed our last housing contract here in Houston- we're officially moving December 5th!! Crazy- guess we should figure out where we're going to go...
All in all we had a fabulous break- we're definitely sad it's over and that Chris isn't around as much, but we did so many fun things and spent some much needed time together as a family.
