One of my Dad's new hobbies is barbecuing- and it is a hobby I fully endorse! He got up way early in the morning to get the ribs and brisket in the smoker. These were the best he's ever done- they were absolutely amazing, as were my mom's homemade baked beans (they are seriously sooo good...can you tell I love food?)

We also celebrated my Dad's birthday (on the 7th). He got a pair of Zubaz..if your memory of early 90s isn't up to par please look them up. He got some zebra stripe :) We also used to have some back in the day so it was really funny to see them again!
We then headed out to see some fireworks. We got to the park, got our spot...and it started to rain. It wasn't too hard and only lasted about 20 minutes and then we got to hang out till the fireworks began.
Here are some fun videos of Nathan while we were waiting for the fireworks- he's such a great dancer!
Then the fireworks began. They were beautiful. I just love the colors, the shapes, and the noise. I'm so glad that Nathan and Abby liked them too. I hope they love the 4th as much as I do.
Hope you all had a happy Fourth of July!

Sarah, that first picture of you and the kids is adorable! Such a cute family you have. I'm glad you guys had a good 4th - it's one of my favorite holidays too.
