Last night was rough- Tuesday nights are already a little crazy, when I get back from mutual Chris immediately leaves to go play basketball at the church. Abby had a really rough time while I was gone and about 20 minutes after I got home she had some "intestinal distress" that was pretty painful for her- she was not happy. By the time I finally got her to bed it wasn't too much longer before I heard Nathan making noise. I went up to check on him and knew immediately he was sick.
We've been really lucky- beside his crazy health issues he is hardly ever sick. But yesterday he had a fever and last night was his first time throwing up. He did not like it at all. He helped me clean up and then we went downstairs to wait for Chris to come home. He was so cute. He kept saying, "I sick" and "tummy hurt." Poor little guy.I felt so bad for him. He threw up one more time after Chris got home and then we got him back to bed.
So Chris and I split up last night. He slept with Nathan to make sure he was okay and I slept with Abby downstairs. We just got serious about getting her to sleep through the night (she doesn't eat, she just wakes up and struggles to get herself back to sleep). So the we figured crying it out would not be fun for Nathan to hear while he's so sick.
Both kids ended up doing pretty well. Abby didn't make any noise till 6:00! Amazing! She then cried a little bit at 6:15 and put herself back to sleep till 6:45. We're making progress!
Nathan woke up twice. At 4:00 Chris got him some medicine because his fever had come back. And a while later his stomach was making some funny noises and he moved down on the ground to cuddle with Chris and woke up at 6:50.
So, we're going to take it slow today. We'll do a little bit of this:

| Watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with as many blankets as he could grab |

| Chris was so good to be up with Nathan- so at 9:30 while he was holding Nathan he fell asleep. Nathan made sure he had lots of pillows and blankets :) |
Hopefully we'll all feel better and rested tomorrow!
