His name is Blue
Nathan chose the name after we convinced him that "Fish" wasn't very creative.
Nathan is pretty excited for his little fish- we've been meaning to get one for him ever since we fish-sat for some friends last year. He was like a kid at a candy store when we went to the to pick out him out and was so antsy when we got home to get the aquarium all set up.
Hopefully we don't kill him too quickly!

Our blue beta's name is blue as well. Classic. And it takes a whole lot to kill those things. I took mine in a plastic cup from Utah to Canada and back again and it didn't die. We've gone a few days here and there without feeding it, still happily alive. Unless he pours bubbles in the water or picks it up and squishes it, you should do just fine! Our last one lasted over two years until the frog in the tank ate its fins. Gross I know, I'm still not over it!
